I tried to search the archives for this but I couldn't get the search to work right, it kept saying it could not find anything...

Anyway I stumbled this book by Robert K. Bunting at www.photoglass.com I've been looking for a book exactly like this... I mean I really want to learn more about why/how film reacts the way it does with certain developers etc etc (I'm one of those people that has to know it works, not just that it does. If anyone could give me some feedback on this book I would be most gracious.

Thank you in advance!

I can't tell you about this book, but years ago I took a Chemistry of Photography class. The only thing I really remember, is that to fully understand the chemistry, you need a good working knowledge of organic chemistry.(Which practically none of us photo majors had:tongue: making the professor's job quite a challenge!)

My advice, get a good text book on organic chemistry as well!
