After starting out with the Argus Brick, I found a nice, used Petri FT. The glass was superb, and I ran thousands of frames through it. However, it's meter circuit, after a couple of years, got very unreliable, despite numerous trips to the shop for repair. I was a stringer for a newspaper, and my desire to get paid for photos produced outweighed the fondness of the 55mm f/1.8 lens. Out went the Petri in favor of a Nikkormat FTn. Since then, I've had this urge to get one for "old times sake", but sanity instantly overtakes my dream.
