Two years after I've started looking into the small and almost unknown company C. Friedrich, which was located in Munich, Germany, I finally managed to finish my overview.
Besides some historical information and lens specifications, I've particularly tried to create a significant amount of sample shots in order to show why I'm particularly interested in the small company's output.
I've mainly focused my attention on the industrial lenses the manufacturer made and some of those are indeed quite unique and interesting as taking lenses today, if you enjoy using older lenses.
Of course the company also made some nice large format lenses, but (because it's not part of the topic I covered) I've only mentioned those in passing. I personally really like the Friedrich Coronar Doppelanastigmat 15 cm f/3.5 lens though, which I've got to try:
