I'm a stills photographer and was working on a TV promo today.
I don't often come across them much more these days, but it's great to see a big
35mm cine rig.

The first digital non-independent movie I saw was Sidney Lumet's Before the Devil Knows You're Dead. I didn't know it was digital at first but throughout the movie I thought something did not look right. I saw Spike Lee's Bamboozled last night and again it was odd. The grain was too much. It looked fake, like fake wood. So, far, I'm not a fan of the digital and am glad to see 35mm gear in use.
