well, you know what that means then. We colonists will once again have to revolt from the yoke of English rule!

You mean Scottish rule. These days the English are ruled by the Scottish Raj in Westminster.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed...

To quote Jeff Green - "Excellent! Nobody ever died from disappointment! You never hear anyone say, 'Look out! There's a man with an axe coming and he looks really disappointed!'" :D

Ha! Wait 'till I tell Les on you when he gets home! No supper you you lot!

I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed... Bob.

Nah... doesn't cut any ice with me - I was brought up with big brothers - I think it was my mum, though, that tried that one  :D

I'm not worthy...

Oh Lordy - it looks like I'll have to do the full AAAAAHM not worthy meluds. again.

Nothing new there then! But now I'll have to bow and scrape too!

Oh, and by the way Dave - did I leave my glasses case in the now (even more) very hallowed ground of your darkroom? Please let me know as I appear to have lost it again.

It twould appear to be a very interesting choice of overlords though...

One thoroughly approves - but if that lovely silver haired geezer tries to sell me more Harman digital paper though - I might chuckle a bit...

Mark - If you bow low enough to scrape anything then you're overdoing it!

Scape - me...

Yup - I'm still doing not worthy... Just getting into practice for October.

I'm bringing my other half too you see. So, one will be on best behaviour and 'ever so umble' - usually works if I scrape low enough at home.

Will promise not to bring the odd domestic arguement with us though.

So will be meeting Bob F for the first time - will bring brown boot polish and daft southern views as ever. That way, one will not disapoint.

Hey, Suzanne, as you're here - will you be my big sister? I've always wanted one and I'll swap you and Jeanette any day for my horrible real-life big brothers :D . Metaphorically I mean, as I'm sure you're not older than me!
(I'm kidding, my bros are not bad really. Well, not that bad   )

As the "mum" to two boys, and the wife of another...errr...I mean, man, I'll accept! I can relate to any woman surrounded by men. Though at this youthful point in my life... would you believe 29??? I'm not sure I would make a good surrogate big sister!! :D

Suzanne, it's all relative! :D

(How fitting that my 2000th post should be just as bad as most of the preceding 1999! I'll get my coat...)

Indeed you did Mark; fret not, it is safe.
Having now had the pleasure of meeting Norma, I can safely say that I am confident that you will indeed be kept on your best behaviour.

Fret ye not - and missing glasses case

Ahh - Thanks Dave, as you gathered already, one loses marbles, glasses and threads relatively easily.

Never did thank you and Win properly for the great meal though - hopefully the 'Royal We' will be returning the favour shortly...
