Sean has set this forum up so that we can make announcements regarding the official APUG Conference and so you can have your voice heard.

I'm the moderator and I promise to rule with a heavy fist.

The conference we haven't announced yet. If we had you'd know it will be in May 2006, in Toronto CA, that there will be a a ton of workshops, photo outings, roundtable discussions, a print competition with 5,000.00 in prize money, a gallery show, and demonstrations.

Since it hasn't been announced, never mind...

I am not announcing that I might attend the conference that hasn't been announced. I may even arrange a gallery tour during the Contact Festival, which too hasn't been announced yet, so my tour is officially unannounced.

Well...If this conference is to go ahead in Toronto

In May 2006, since I live in Greater Toronto then count me in. Again that is if...you could run it inconjuction with the Contact Photo Art Festival, get some cross promotion happening. Just thoughts, I can't plan that far ahead myself.

Excellent idea, I will take the train so I can pick up Foma film and R09 in Prague and some Forte stuff in Budapest. Should not take any longer than 3 days...
Now where do we find a find a church large enough for the high priest of Rodinal? Midnight film developing celebrations on the beach...

Looking for unannounced conferences in the future

Hi. I am new. I was wondering if as long as the upcoming may conference is unannounced, if anyone knows of any unannounced conferences coming up in the US? I promise not to tell a soul

Hey Barry, the unannounced conference is now officially announced and has been for a while. Unofficially, the next unannounced conference will be in Europe somewhere, but that's still unofficial. Unofficially, I like Crete too.

It would certainly be closer than Crete. It is a very very long drive though.
