I'm not a collector and I'm not looking for a collector's item. Any kind of edition at all, is fine. I just want a copy to look at, preferably one with the Kerouac introduction.
I got a copy from the Book Depository a couple of years ago, but it looks like they currently only stock a Chinese version... AbeBooks will probably have something.

I got one I can do without---w/Kerouac intro---and a "bookmarker" stuck in there with the vanity fair article about kerouac....(upon just cracking it open for the first time in a long time)....
third SCALO edition 1995 on the inside...
anyways--I think I'm done with it.....I can sell it to you if you're in the usa...say like 20 bucks...

The only one better than the Stedl Press anniversary edition is the original Grove Press pub. in '57. Stedl copy is larger and 'better' printing. Just a copy of the book, most outlets have them, Amazon and so forth. Good luck. One other note, Frank is 'pure photography' at its best, others to look at are Winogrand, Klein, Atget, Friedlander---just a few to name of many.
