I’ve been a bit quiet with the ƒ/D stuff lately, and for good reason. We’ve been hard at work on the ƒ/D Book of Pinhole. Today we launched the Kickstarter to raise some crowdfunding for it! Have a look, share with your friends, and if you’re so inclined, we’d greatly appreciate your support!

Hi Kier,
I've really enjoyed your website to date and I'm looking forward to owning a book of pinhole photographs! I'll almost always choose something I can hold in my hands to a thing on a screen so my thanks for putting this book together! I'd love to have pledged for a print of yours as well but, unfortunately, shipping alone to Australia is the same as the cost of the book :-( So please don't take it personally that I didn't stretch for a print - it's not at all a case of not wanting one, I assure you!

@Molli - thank you for the support, and I totally understand. I'm actually taking a slight loss on the international shipping because I hate how much extra they charge.

@OptiKen & @DWThomas - thank you so much for your support!

@RalphLambrecht - that's a very useful book excerpt. The ƒ/D book is a different bent, focusing on the imagery first, with enough info on the technique to get started in that direction.

Hey folks - been a while since I've updated here about the Kickstarter. We're now at 115% of our goal, which means that the project is fully funded. However there's still 21 days left in the campaign, and you're able to still back the campaign during this period. After the Kickstarter is over, the extra books we have will go to camera stores to sell, but due to how retail stores work, the book will definitely be more expensive at retail than through the Kickstarter. So if you have an inkling, go back the Kickstarter - it's the fastest and most cost effective way to get that book in your hands!

Hey! Got the book and the print this past week. Very nice work, some good inspiration to get geared up for Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day at the end of this month.

I received my copy of the book last night and have to say it is one of the best Kickstarter items I've supported. The book is printed on gorgeous high quality paper and the prints are incredible.
This really showcases the unique beauty you can only achieve through pinhole photography as well as it's diversity.
I have to admit, none of my pinholes ever come out like that - so much emotion can be expressed through pinholes.
It has truly inspired me to shoot more and print more.
