I know the instructions say you can develop 8 rolls of 120 film on one box, and can extend that number based on certain factors. If I have 11 rolls to develop, and I mix the chemicals and do all these rolls in a matter of under 6 hours, all at the same temperature and dev times, would they all come out the same?

As in, would the last 3 be vastly different? I'm developing 4 at a time and wondering if after the 8th roll is developed, would my developer or blix be "too exhausted".

If you are talking about the Tetenal powder kit, my understanding is that it's the same as the Unicolor powder kit, which also recommends 8 rolls for the 1 liter kit but discusses how more rolls can be developed. For the last 5 years I have developed 14-19 rolls per year with the Unicolor 1 liter kit and complete all developing within 3 days or less (Unicolor recommends completion within a week as the chemicals degrade). I have increased the developer and blix times by 30 seconds after roll 12 or 13 and have not noticed any change in results.

To check this approach, I scan a negative or two from each development cycle and have not observed poorer density or color shifts. But what gives me the most confidence in this approach is that I am able to use the same enlarger color filtration settings and exposure times when making RA4 prints, for the same film, regardless of when the roll was developed (1st or 15th, etc.), i.e., development appears to be consistent.

To prevent water drying marks when using the 1 liter Unicolor kit, I add 1/2 teaspoon of PhotoFlo concentrate to the 1 liter of stabilizer, and repeat every 8 rolls.

I, too, have not had to extend the development time and regularly do 8 to 12 rolls in a liter over a couple of days time
