Hi all,

Rollei film trusted me and sent this new film to me so as to test it.

Harmuth Schroder, Maco-Rollei director asked me to test it in their house low speed developer, RLS. I did it.

I also tested it in PMK, and in HC 110.

You can see the results here.

Tell me what you think about it.

I rather preferred the look in RLS compared to the other two, but obviously that's comparing apples with oranges. I thought the black color of the model's hair was nicely dark and rich looking in RLS. It's a shame that all three tests weren't with the same subject' I'll confess that in a comparison between the three, I find walnuts less interesting to look at.

Such preferences aside, I'm intrigued by the idea of using it at ASA 25. I thought the tonality of the enlargement of the lower back was very nice.

You are right. But the goal here was to determine developing times for this film with these developers. So first I work with the same uninteresting subject, and when the time was determined, I used it for my daily work. That is what I present in this paper.

Just to get it into the record here, what formats is the film available in?
