i have an ilford 500, multi-contrast head. i know that those are calibrated, at least that is what i read. ilford published a couple of negatives and a copy as a witness of those negatives that serve as a measurement, or testero. it is also true what you mention that enlargers are not calibrated at the same level of quality as the other two.
