Brass Tessar from Paris with a focal length of 500mm and a weight of perhaps three kilogram. In addition, further adapted to a Compound No5 shutter – thus one of the largest central shutters that was ever made at all. The adaptation slightly reduced the aperture from the original value of 6.3. There is no original aperture on the shutter, so this duo was probably paired from the very beginning.
The lens aperture operates smoothly. The shutter is complete, fully functional, the speeds sound slower by listening – the pneumatic piston in the shutter is likely stiff/seized.
Great condition for its age, mechanically and optically. The flange is included with the shutter.
All is presented on accompanying photos, Should you have questions, just ask.
Price is 1400€ through Paypal, Wise or similar. I am open to price negotiations.
Sale is preferred in EU
