I just got a like new, TEMPO 28-70mm macro (1:4) f3.5/4.5 ONE-TOUCH zoom -- for 0.99¢ on EBAY.

I wasn't expecting much -- I wasn't even expecting to win. But it turns out this lens should be great. It's obviously well made. It's all metal, and very heavy -- compared to other 28-80mm zooms. Multi-coated, color-coded DOF scale, 55mm filter thread (it even came with a TEMPO UV filter) & made in Korea. Looks and works like new.

No results as of yet. I assume that no one else bid because no one has ever heard of TEMPO lenses.

Have any of you?

99 cents? Why did the seller even bother? After ebay and paypal take their cut, he owes them $5.95

ACCESS TEMPO lenses seem to be a Sigma rebrand based on my quick googling.

Since it was an auction, I assume the seller was hoping to do better -- but didn't want to throw a completely good lens in the trash, as too many people actually do!

And no, it didn't cost the seller $5.95.

Thanks. I'll check the MF Sigma lenses and see if they made a 28-70mm under a different label, like this one.

It very well might be a Sigma. It has that quality, but I've never seen a Sigma 28-70mm ONE-TOUCH.

I have a couple Tempo lenses put up somewhere.
Never used them and can't remember the mount.
Will have to conduct a search this weekend now that I know how valuable they are.
