Ted Jackson is a photojournalist, worked with the Picayune in New Orleans for a good few years. I got to hear him speak. His book is a great read. It's about a football player, Jackie Wallace, who played in a few Superbowls. Ended up a homeless crack addict sleeping under a bridge in New Orleans. He talked a little bit about what it was like shooting during and immediately following Katrina, some of the interviews he's done. Great guy, wholesome. Very friendly. Great author, too. I could listen to him describe how paint dries and still be entertained for hours.
