Technical Pan and Technidol in 10 oz mix

I use the POTA formula from The Cookbook to develop Tech Pan.It works fine,but recently came across a 6 pack box of technidol.These blister type packs will make it easier for me to develop one roll without mixing my usual 64oz batch from scratch.Instructions with the pack are for developing a 35mm roll with 8 oz of developer.The question is -has anyone used one of these blister packs to make 10 oz of solution ?(I'm using a Patterson tank) and if so,what developing time do you use? Have you developed more than 1 roll with this solution?And again,what time/compensation do you use?Thanks for any info.Alan

I have used the 10 oz. mix, but it's been with 4 × 5 T-Max 100 when I do night shots processed in a rotary drum. It works great in that situation with a little seat of the pants time adjustment based on how I interpret the contrast of the scene. I suspect that, with perhaps a slight increase in developing time, it would be OK also with Tech Pan in a tank, but I've never tried it (probably never will, either, since locating Tech Pan now would be problematic and expensive).

Not sure about oz, but what I have used is Technidol liquid developer, bottle to make 600ml developer, and I need 700ml for 2 films. I just developed 2 min longer in 700ml, and it was fine.

I have used them before with Tech Pan and I also have used home made POTA.

Both seem to get excellent results, and by following instructions on the packs they work well, the fact that they are sealed helps keep them fresh but I would suggest testing one first on an unimportant roll before you use the rest of them unimportant stuff, as of course they are old and sometimes they can go bad.
