I am used to the teaspoon method of mixing my own chemistry but the readily available charts I have found don't include Ferric Ammonium Citrate, does anyone out there know where I can get teaspoon equivalents for this?

You mean you want to go from mL to teaspoon?

If you have Windows on your computer I have a free converter application that will convert pretty much any measurement into another. I just looked and it has teaspoons and of course mL.

E-mail me if you care for it. I will send it to you.

BTW, 1 mL is equal to 0.2028841 Tps.

1ml = 0.2028841 Tps

1 Tps = 4.928922 ml

A teaspoon is 5 mL. You can calculate the weight per mL from other data on the substance, or just weigh off 100 mL under the conditions in your laboratory. Whether or not this measurement will hold over time depends on temperature, humidity, consistency of your chemical supply, etc.

My measurement was:

ferric ammonium citrate (green scales CAS #1185-57-5) 3.80gm/tsp

I assume this might vary considerably since the compound is also variable in its constitution. But, this measure has always worked for me when making VDBs, cyanotypes, blue toners, etc.
