Teaching this summer in Belmont MA?

The teacher who has done a very good job in our summer program at Belmont Hill School has had some surgery on her eyes and cannot teach this session. Since the program is coming up fairly soon, I spoke with the director of the summer school about posting the job description here. He agreed that it was a good place to begin looking. Here is his Craig's List posting -going up tomorrow:

Photo Teacher
Belmont Hill Summer School has an immediate opening for a qualified photography teacher. Two classes (each 90 minutes) meet daily during our six-week program. Enrollment is limited to 10 students per class. Designed to serve beginners and students with some previous background in photography, the studio class utilizes a well equipped facility with 10 B&W enlargers, chemical processing area and up-to-date Macintosh computers.

Interested candidates must have experience instructing students in traditional B&W processing.

That didn't take long!

A former student, who was the most serious photographer to have gone through our program, came back from art school and is between jobs. Because the arts program in the summer school is considered a "camp" program and not hooked in to the academic credit merry-go-round, there was room to take talent and know-how over a degree. I'm quite pleased to have him back in the studio!
