so many referances to tea & developers

My preferance is Darjeeling, delicate & relaxing while you agitate your films in your dev tank. From experience is an excellent companion to Rodinal and Xtol.

However Russian Caravan tea is far more suitable when using Pyrocat HD

PG Tips is best for ID11/D76, only Brits will know this.

I ain't sticking Pyro in my tea

Tgee's are my preference. TEA + EGEE's maybe Robert Kennedy or noseoil will know the formula for them. I agree with Ian, no pyro in my Tgee's. I like mine iced, no flames.

As you may have noticed, I like cat p tea.

I've now tested PL25 (EFKE) with Xtol (replenished) with excellent results. These intial tests indicate I can probably rate at 50 ISO for N development, but a bit of fine tuning is needed still before I have concluded my Zone system tests. A wonderful pint of Ceylon tea aided the neg processing.

Further tests with PL25 and Pyrocat HD will take place at the end of the month and I think I'll supplement the processing ritual with a refreshing cup of Lapsang Souchon, the smokey flavour of the tea excactly complimenting the warm staining effects of the Catchetol in the Developer.

As for me I have a large supply of Catchetol (also known as catchetin Pyrocatchetin) so no need for pyrotechics with cats.
