Talk me out of a 100-dollar Canon F1-N round 2

There was the Pellix which was, like an FT. Then, in the early '70's, a special F-1 was made with a pellicle mirror and a different motor drive. In the '80's, something like this last one I mentioned was made again, but it was based on the F-1N.

I did manage to finally get my hands on the 250-shot back and its matching magazine loader for the early F-1, but I have never even seen one of the pellicle mirror F-1's.
