Hey, all. I'm working on a project for an altpro class and I am determined to print on metal. Although Albumen would probably be the better way to go, I had already purchased chemicals for cyanotypes and vdbs before I realized this. Has anyone printed either processes on metal? How were your results? Mind sharing your process?
My ideas include printing onto sheet aluminum with a gel medium coating for the emulsion to stick to, or coating the metal first in a glossy white spraypaint, then using the gel and printing. These are just off-the-top-of-my head thoughts. I am concerned about setting a white point, as my metals aren't (obviously) white.)
Would love some advice!
Thanks!
