Hi there! im attempting pinhole photogrpahy and i seem to be having a problem with winding up. when i wind up the take up spool, i can feel the negative moving inside yet the spool seems to spin back again when let go. how do i prevent this?

Applying anything that drags slightly against the take-up spool should prevent this.

I presume this'll is a homemade camera? Amazing ft bit of sponge just thick enough to apply gentle pressure to the take up spool will do it.
