Tachihara vs Osaka

Tachihara makes 4X5, 5X7 and 8X10 field cameras. I have read that the Osaka 4X5 is actually the Tachihara. Does anyone know if this is true for all three sizes?

Ted Bromwell of Bromwell Marketing answered my question. The cameras are one and the same.

being, ummmm... less than truthful, when he says that the Osaka he sells is "much more rigid than the similar Tachihara cameras which have thin easily breakable brass parts."?

It would appear to be the case - but then, I avoid ebay as a source for accurate product write-ups. I think it has something to do with the frequency of the remark "I don' know anything about cameras, but......."
