A friend of mine found a beaten up standard and 4x5 bellows for a LF camera in her car boot a few years back - she works in film, so it was long lost someones long lost something from lost lost somewhere - anyways, turns out it was a Sinar system standard, plastic build and very stripped down, not Norma and not the newer F style either - I use it all the time now that I've fixed the knobs (put wing nuts on it
), much much less weight than an F or P, holds my lenses up fine and I use the F rear standard for focus, tilt, shift etc anyway...
You might want to find out what model this was from - small bit of rail - away you go... Limiting factor will be the lens and holders, but that is always a consideration...
You've got me thinking
