Can anyone tell me why Kodak shows different development times for T-Max 400 in these publications? Kodak lists both as current publications and released both in October 2007. Which is correct?

I do not want to know your actual development times. I am interested in Kodak's published recommendations. I will adjust from that point where necessary.

Thank you,
David

In 2007, Kodak introduced a new version of T-Max 400 ("TMY-2"). The recommended development times changed from those that were recommended for the older version.

If you look at the top left hand corner of F-4016 it states:

"Note: T-MAX 400 Film was improved in October 2007. Some film
characteristics, including processing times, have changed. Refer to
Kodak publication F-4043 for packaging examples."

Use F-4043 for the new T-Max 400 ("TMY2"). Use F-4016 for T-Max 100 and T-Max P3200.

In case you are referring to an older version of F-4016, here is the current link:

http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/support/techPubs/f4016/f4016.pdf

There is a similar warning at the top left hand corner of F-4043.

All I had to do was real ALL the instructions!

Thanks, folks. I've got it. Next time I'll reread first, then post.

David
