I recently had an sx70 fall into my lap and while shockingly it's fully functional photographically, the viewfinder is damaged. The arms that control the eyepiece and fold it in when you close the camera are both broken.
Generally speaking I'm very comfortable doing my own camera repairs, but the trouble here seems to be sourcing replacement parts. eBay doesn't seem to have much to offer and Etsy didn't either. Is this one of those situations where I'm going to have to buy a parts camera or are there vendors out there who specialize that I just don't know about?
