I bought an SX-70 at a garage sale, in good cosmetic condition. I bought a pack of Impossible Project colour film for SX-70 for it, and inserted the pack as directed. When I closed the film door, the motor fired up and ejected the dark slide. Unfortunately, it kept on ejecting all the film in the pack too, one by one. It continues to run even after the pack is empty. I have searched for SX-70 problems, but this does not seem like the common problem of the pick arm not picking up the top film. While the motor runs, the viewfinder is blacked out, but as soon as I open the film door, the view is restored, so I don't think its a mirror problem. Is there some sensor or switch that is supposed to be activated to stop the motor after the film is out that is stuck or broken?
