Hmmm, wonder if I can get an enhanced driver's license soon enough. Are you thinking of coming down to the swap meet in Kent on the 12th? I know that Bradley is planning to do so, and it's possible that Matt might join him.
I don't know. Maybe if they have four or five Leicas for sale...or maybe I don't quite believe the goods that will be available. At my local swap meets you get a lot of Brownie Reflexes and Canon Canonets that seem to have suffered poorly through three wars.
If you have a passport and aren't busy next Saturday, come down to the Puget Sound Photo Collectors Society swap meet in Kent, WA. No cell phone covers onsite, unless they're attached to someone's phone.
Has everyone in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest have their money saved and their transportation arranged for this ? I will be the big guy with a Canon A1 camera and a sandy coloured photography vest at the meet. See you there. Dennis

Was not as good as last year but I did get some 4x5 holders and some expired film and free Microphen (Thanks to Mattking & friends) developer that mixed up fine. Everything dissolved properly as they were in vacuum sealed pouches. Was there for 4ish hrs and noticed the groups came in waves. Not very many "should have bought" articles were for sale or were priced beyond reality. Met a lot of friends etc and it did NOT rain so made for a pleasant day. A friend even posted a photo of yours truly in Flickr from sale day.
There were quite a few tables, so as a result a variety of different retail approaches.
Some were a bit junky, but others were quite good. The two "surprises" were a table operated by Leos Cameras and a table operated by a photofinisher. What drives me nuts though is that there is essentially noone selling film!
It was good to see Dennis. And just about all my darkroom group were there too .
The bargains usually do not happen until near the end of the meet when people have to sell or give away items or pack them home. I had to leave early for a journey DT to get some items. Probably a few left over items will show up at our next meeting of WCPHA when we can find out if we made any $$ or not.
