A few days ago i saw the remastered version of Suspiria ( 1977 ) in 4K / UHD It's a Italian horror film from 70's i saw it on a 75 4K Qled TV. The image quality is almost unbelievable, and has a image quality even better than most new cinema movies ( i might have a have a bias towards negative film ).
As i undestand they used at least a year to remaster the movie. I think they might have used noise recuction to remove som of the film grain, but the sharpness and quality of the film is so spectacular. Even stranger to think that they used half frame 35mm (Super 35mm), i know that a 24p film normaly looks less grainy and sharper when playing, but still.
It tells me that even 35mm can hold a huge amount of details.
