Hi,
I saw this post from Reatha Kenny @ Film Soup in Wellington, New Zealand on Linkedin and thought I'll pass it on here on APUG.

Hi Everyone I just launched a Kickstarter to fix my developing machine and give my lab a really great boost to get of the ground to be a more sustainable business. I am the only dedicated film lab in New Zealand and I'd very much appreciate your support in spreading the word. Thanks so much. Dead Link Removed

If you ever used her services, you might want to look into this.
Here developing machine (Jobo ATL3) has broken down and she started a Kickstarter project to get it fixed and to get a new machine as well. See:

I'm on the other side of the globe, but I'll support her for a lovely patch:

I find the name Film Soup irritating. Never liked the concept of "soup" for film developing or printing. But that's me. I also hate beer being called "suds".

It's a worthy cause to support.
Unfortunately the ongoing trend in the provision of film processing is that once an E6 or C41 machine breaks down or becomes unreliable, then that service or services is summarily excised from the lab because of the cost of rehabilitating the machinery. It's a business economics decision. It's hard enough for labs to make money without old dinosaurs of machinery sucking up maintenance and repair costs; what they usually do is then invest fully into the digital imaging spectrum where there is a constant stream of money. All this is particularly true of several labs here in Australia and others in New Zealand that have closed E6 and/or C41 (in some cases, all other) film processing.

This is exactly why we need to support this effort to keep E6 going. The more options there for folks to send in film, the more E6 they will buy etc....

That's why I support Film Soup, even since I probably won't ever use their services since I'm on the other side of this beautiful globe. And because they're friendly people as well

I heard Image Lab has been bought by Ink? What does Image Print (part of the Ink Group) now service? Inkjet and laser prints? I heard their Lambda printer require a expensive part replacement and they chose not to go with that and what about film scanning services?

I see now WPS have pricelist for E6 processing. From Ken's Camera
