I watched the video the other day, and I thought it was pretty cool. Sadly, the envelope will not fit my 545 holder. I have a 405 somewhere, but for the life of me, I cannot find it.

I think it's a great idea and I wish them great success, but, honestly, the cost is still pretty steep per shot. I'll probably invest in one kit because I like experimenting with this sort of thing, but I don't see myself shooting it regularly.

I'm not into instant photography and I know f* all about it, but just stumbled across this: https://the.supersense.com/collecti...nstant-diy-film-kit-type-100-packfilm-8-shots

Looks like they creatively worked around the issue of high manufacturing costs due to the need for manual assembly by literally putting it into the hands of the customer instead.

It's still more than €`10 a shot, and the quality is meh. I suspect the main cost driver is not final assembly. The kit aspect is kind of gimmicky.

I was gifted some OneInstant back in 2019, and found it very prone to jamming. Very very frustrating. It did come in a nice box though. I would sooner buy expired Polaroid than chance the Supersense product again.

I was intrigued when I got the email, but I still have some of the original units I've not used yet. I don't shoot instant often.
