Hello ,

I will write to this post with analog forum in mind.
Let me give you an example , You designed a simple ray tracing software and analysed a prototype lens psf variations on 256 x 256 x 256 color and may be 1000 different lens location.

I read last night , ibm is renting his supercomputers to individuals.
1 cpu 1 hour cost you 50 cent with xeon chips.
Newer computers cost you 1 dollar from sun.
It is exciting , isnt it ?

Best ,
