For Sale Superb User Lens - Leica Summitar $ 299 !

If you know Summitar lenses, you never they are FREQUENTLY found with haze, fogging, scratches and are generally in poor shape. This example, with the earlier, rounded aperture blades for smooth bokeh, is in very nice user condition. Glass is FREE from scratches and is 97 % clear. Its not perfect glass, with a few darks specks between elements and under a flash light torture test, I can see a very small spot of extremely faint haze, but this is not worth discussing since you can barely see it and otherwise the glass is abnormally CLEAN !! With normal light you cant see it. Or, with a $ 40 CLA from Youxin Ye, I bet he could clean it away....

Barrel has modest wear. In Meters. Although this lens by manufacture date should be uncoated, I can see a reflection of purple in the lens. Built in 1940. $ 299 plus $ 6 shipping in US
