I'd like to clean the inside of the rangefinder "windows" on my Super Graphic (not anniversary, not Pacemaker).. Is the rangefinder accessible from the top? Can the leather covered top be removed for easy rangefinder access? (are there screws under the leather that can be found and removed by peeling back the leather?)

From what I can find, it looks like accessing the rangefinder for other work is from underneath and not as simple as one might expect...(?) I think the biggest problem with my rangefinder (other than dirty windows) is that the rangefinder images aren't coincident.

(I currently have a WTB ad posted for a complete focusing back, and until I find one, I'm not sure I can check or adjust the infinity stops, if adjustment is needed. If someone has a spare "Super" back or knows of one, I'd appreciate a private message...
thanks!

Check on graflex.org first in the articles on range finders and then the forum.

As far as checking Graflex Org, thank you, but a search just generated a lot of useless "junk". I couldn't find what I was looking for.
Maybe Shutterfinger's response indicates why.
I see that I can probably access at least one of the windows with a cotton swap on a long stem through the battery compartment.
I'm surprised that the rangefinder adjustment screws aren't accessible through the top and that there aren't port(s) to access them. If these rangefinders, can be adjusted with common tools, that would make a good YouTube video. However, I'm not sure I'm up to it.
If I can find the focus panel, I may take the camera to a shop for a final tweaking.
Thanks!

If you look at the manual you can download from the link above you will find instructions to adjust the rangefinder for vertical and horizontal (infinity) alignment. For the vertical alignment you need to remove the flash/distance scale cover. Best read the manual, it is fiddly. You will then see a hole through which there is a screw to adjust vertical alignment. Infinity alignment is done by adjusting the stop bracket for the steel ribbon at the left side of the rail bed. That is more straight forward. Anything else will require removal of the rangefinder unit, very involved, atrocious design for maintenance, you have to detach the rear bellows, difficult to access screws, and potential for big screw ups. I've done it once and don't want to repeat that.

To cap this off, it does look like you can reach the inside of the window nearest the battery holder by going through the battery box with a long swab ("big Q Tip")
