This is embarrassing. Does a Super Chromega D Lamphouse fit an Omega D11 enlarger? If so, is this head any good?
Sincerely,
Jerry

Dear Jerry,

Not really. If you are exceptionally handy, you could make one work. For a very small amount more you should be able to find a complete Dx enlarger with a dichroic head. Several years ago while in the same situation, I purchased a "junk" enlarger for $175 with the same goal as yours. After some inspection and a day of cleaning, painting and wiring, I put the old enlarger in storage. (I did steal a few parts for the focusing mechanism.)

I'll bet you can bet a much better deal today on one that doesn't need any work.

Yes and Yes
you will need an adaptor that KHB in Mississauga can provide.
A lot of people on this site use this head. Requires two ELC bulbs and a dedicated transformer to balance output to the head.

I have a few of them that are mounted to the omega chassis.
