Hi, I’m setting up my first darkroom and have invested in a Super Chromega D Dichroic II, it arrived in the post a little worse for wear, but I’m confident this can still work.
My question is where do you think this small 4cm spring (pictured) comes from?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have one of these enlargers but I do not know where the spring came from, although I suspect it may be from a door. Someone else will know.

Welcome to APUG Photrio!!

I'd have to go look at my color head, but I suspect that's related to the white light selector. Possibly the return spring that keeps the color filter set in the light when white light is not selected.

Yeah, that would make me a bit nervous. Beseler uses springs like that for the filters too.

It's a return spring for the dichroic filters. There should be 2xfilter I believe
