Hey!
I've been interested in photography for yonks. I've been dabbling in it for a few years too (started out as an official RAG Week photographer for my Uni with an old Canon Powershot 2megapixel jobby.) I never really had the motivation to go out and get the images. So to change that I signed up to do a film photography course at the beginning of September. I was really excited about that, but it was cancelled as I was the only person signed up to the course.
I switched to the digital course, but in the meantime I've found a one-day course up the country on how to develop and print from negatives. It's being run by a poster on here. I'm really looking forward to it, and have been out shooting B&W film with my father's Eos 300.
Most importantly I have a few job interviews lined up, seeing as financial restraints were a big barrier to my photography. Hopefully soon enough I'll have the money to get a temporary darkroom set up in the spare bedroom.
I think the craft part of film photography will be my biggest love. I've always loved getting into the nitty gritty hobby aspect of my other main hobby (tabletop gaming.)
So yes... 'Sup APUG.
