Why is it that all Digital photographer have to justify that they at one time did Analog? Are they all that insecure or are we that much more dominating?
Maybe neither. Maybe they are just old like me. There wasn't a lot of digital around in 1964 when I took up photography seriously. BTW, I didn't "GO" digital. I'm keeping my film burners and using them too. I have yet to hold a full frame digital that feels and acts like a classic metal film camera. Maybe the M9 does, but that's out of my budget range.
I have seen more than a few who "went digital," and who later grieved at the difficulty of rebuilding their film arsenal when they realized that they shouldn't have discarded it in the marketing driven rush to the "digital high ground."
