Suggest a film?

For color I suggest, Fuji Superia X-Tra 400
It is a fantastic film and is available in 3-packs at WalMart for a very reasonable price.

(skip the Portra. It is wayy too expensive and really, nothing special)

I agree with the Portra, its a hypebeast film. Xtra on the other hand... while ive had a few nice photos on Fuji, that higher ISO stuff sometimes keeps bad. But I only ever buy it expired. 100iso is always a safe bet for color film old or new, it keeps the longest while being the fastest.

Slides cost so much because they are worth it. If you buy more, the manufactures will increase production and be able to lower the cost. Complaining about the price hinders building a greater user desire among potential users thus raising the costs.

Price is a valid concern when you can buy 5 rolls for one. Just sayin. Why dont you go buy 1000 rolls of ektachrome 100??

I bought mine years ago and froze them to keep them from the hoarders.

buying large amounts of film like that, any film, is for suckers and chumps, people who do that are as bad as hoarders. does them no good because it ends up going bad in their freezer
and then they sell ( and probably aren't honest about its poor quality since was frozen and old and became useless seeing their freezer didn't shield it from the muons that enter out atmosphere )
... for chump change, and it ruins it for people who still want to buy and use film.
