I'm in market for a wide angle lens for my newly acquired M645. (Mamiya)
Looking at KEH, I see 45mm variety is available with non-suffix (as in nothing exists after the designation), N suffix, and S suffix.
From what I read, non-suffix is the oldest single coated lens, N is multi-coated and desirable, but what's "S" suffix? No, it's not SHIFT as in 55mm variety.
The 45mm lens was redesigned a couple of times, the plain C was the first, the C S which was not common then the C N.
The C may not be Multi coated but it's not far off and is a superb lens, the coatings were very good, the later models ahd smaller from elements and looked more like the 80mm's
I would recommend that you make sure that the version you obtain uses 67mm filters.
I had an older version that was a good lens, but it took 77mm filters and was considerably larger than the newer N version with 67mm filter threads that I replaced it with.
