Wot we ave ere is a near to perfect F4. The reasonable model that uses 4 AA batteries, not the one that uses a car battery.
It really is lovely. No dinks/dents/scrapes. LCDs are perfect. No nasy grody leaks. Serial # puts it as a more recent production # - but the experts here can chime in.

Absolutely love this camera, but I have two of them just like this! Why? Because I found this one, just had to have it Mildred, as a back up. Even though my front up is hardly used. Too many cameras (it's a thing), too little time.
Plus, really, stockpiling film is ok, but having two of these boat anchors is just rude. Give it back to the people.

$275 shipped/pp.

p.s. someone from the peanut gallery just asked - no it does not have a super lame plastic door latch that snaps off like a Nikon F100. This one is real metal - just like a Nikon EM!

Solid stuff – I got one last year in the same setup – and definitely more compact to get this over the larger grip. GLWS.

Already sold, but yeah I made sure to get the small 4AA battery grip versions. I find them much more pleasant to use for 'normal' photography in size, handling and weight.

N90s are the shiz. Those were thousand dollar cameras in the late 90s! That's a nice thing to be given.

Really. I'm very rapidly loving this thing -- and I'm the guy with a bunch of Leicas sitting here. But the autofocus is so really quick and accurate, the metering on program does such a good job.

(SIGH!)

And they currently sell, on keh, for less than $75 for the body.

My F4 really has an issue taking up film. Not sure why, it all looks nice and good on the inside. But, it just won't suck it up and wind it on the take up reel :-|

Might be something to post in a regular forum, not the classifieds. I bet someone can help you there.

try cleaning the take-ups with a little solvent of some sort, might make it grabbier. Is the little prong that catches the film perforation there? If it/they got broken off ur SOL.

The smaller grip was available as an accessory, it could be easily swapped with the larger on that was just screwed to the camera body through a latch and the tripod socket.
