Strobe Light Not Firing

Hello,

I just bought the SP-Systems Exaclibur AC/DC from B&H Photo: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/con...s&Q=&sku=298206&is=REG&addedTroughType=search

When I press the test button, the flash doesn't fire. But, when I use the strobe as a slave, therefore being set off by another strobe, the flash does fire. Does anyone know what is wrong?

Whatever doesn't work is wrong! Does the flash fire when you connect a sync lead? It could just be the test button itself BUT - if it's new and it doesn't work, send it back!
