No, it is not re-spooled Retro 400s but both are Agfa Aviphot 400. Look at JCH description and then the Aviphot Pan 400s notice: Full sentences are identical. Strange isn't it?

I'm not familiar with Aviphot Pan 400 or it's marketing.

You're dodging a bit ... but saying the JCH Streetpan is the same emulsion as Retro 400s?
 
Considering that you can get first tier 400 film for $7 OR LESS per roll even at sales prices Streetpan is no bargain.
 
Aviphot ASP 400s to be more specific. The data sheet is accessible through the Maco site.
