I haven't.

You guys are just making me feel worse here. I don't think any of the nighbor kids are the right age, either.

Maybe I should start by looking for tricycles on the craigs lists. Get one, place the trike at random down in the village near the bars, wait for a drunk to try and ride it.

Not to discount your loss, Don. I'm truly sorry for your grief.

But you could spice that story up by then mentioning that Tricycle was the name of your dog.

And even more by saying he was a three legged dog you rescued.

And that he lost the leg by saving orphans somehow.

Heh, Now I'm thinking about pictures of a three legged dog. Wasn't that the cover of an Alice in Chains album? I'm not going to make THAT happen artificially for the sake of my art.

You should have moved it to the side of the driveway instead.

Who can afford the film and processing costs these days to shoot at 3 -4 fps or faster, I certainly can't.

You mean instead of leaving it behind the back wheels of a pickup truck? 3-year-olds can't see the future....

No, I meant that it is still being run over, and you've never succeeded in getting over it. Ain't English weird? 😉

How many shots did you need to capture that moment? Three? Four? Totally worth it.

Blind man, so I totally bazooked him from all angles.

This one's a winner. You may recall I take a lot of dog portraits and like them, but mostly because it reminds me of my grandmother's dog, Gidget, who grampa taught to "smile" as a puppy. But 13, with the messed up teeth, it was simultaneously adorable and a little terrifying.

Any pic that isntantly elicits the visceral memory is a good one.
