Hi everybody, I've recently noticed some streaking on my negatives (link). I'm sharing an entire roll to show the varying degrees of streakyness. First few images are extremely faint. Then starts to become more pronounced. Always on the bottom (left if vertical). This is consistent with the other two rolls affected. Tell me if this theory is bonkers:

I developed 6x 120 rolls, two at a time in a Paterson tank. Exactly 3 of the rolls had the streaking, in the same place.
Could it always be the bottom roll, and an issue with temperature or agitation? Or the top roll? Any other theories?
I've checked the reels and they seem fine.

Portra 400
Developed in Cinestill 2-bath kit with reels and Paterson tank.
Pre-soak in 102° water for 1 minute.
Then 4 inversions every 30 seconds for 3:30 minutes.

Thanks for your input!

most common way to have problems on one edge of a negative in a paterson tank is to have almost but not quite enough solution. the entire film gets wet, but part is not fully immersed for part of the time.

as useual, seeing the ENTIRE negative sometime is a help.
