I've got a bottle of HC-110, about 7 months old, half full, stored in a dark, relatively cool place.
It has developed some dark brown spots and streaks on the inside of the bottle above the level of the liquid.
I swilled it around a little and they didn't seem to be dissolving, and the developer itself is clear.
Anybody ever run into this, and does it matter?

It is nothing to worry about. It is concentrate drying on the walls of the bottle. If you want to, you can shake the bottle to dissolve it, but it won't make any practical difference to how the developer ultimately works.

That sounds like the voice of experience.
Thanks, Thomas. I wanted to be sure because I'm getting ready to start on 20 rolls I took during a recent trip.

I've used completely brown HC-110 that was at least 10 years in a partly filled bottle and it worked fine.
