This is how I was carrying my Nikon F4 / Nikkor 85mm f1.4 combo today, which is a fairly heavy combo. The trick for me is to have a strap that’s long enough so I can bring the camera up to my eye without having to take the strap of my shoulder. I am using a Perri‘s camera strap which I found to be quite comfortable. https://perris.ca/product-category/camera-straps/I use to use a strap long enough to permit having the camera at my side and the strap crossing my body diagonally so as to rest on the shoulder opposite the side where the camera hangs.
That is with the waist level finder.
I preferred having a left hand trigger grip on the camera when I carried it that way.
OP/TECH USA Super Pro Stap. $24.90 from Amazon.
Ooh... those look great! Might have to get one for my RB. Thanks for posting!
What lugs are required to have the straps?
Grateful for that, i carry mine around handheld so i could really use one. I have the left hand grip also but its good to have optionsOpTech calls them “Pro Connector B”, but if you are looking for one to use with a generic strap, look up “RB67 Strap Lug”.
