I am looking for a strap for my Autocord. It has a "button" on each side that is about 8mm in diameter and the shaft to the button is about 5mm. Fotodiox sells straps for Rollei and Hasse -- would either fit? If you have a classic Hasselblad could you measure the "button" -- thanks!!!

The button is called a retaining lug. Call up OP/TECH and see if they have a strap to fit your Autocord. Their phone # is at the top of the page on the right. OP/TECH has straps for two sizes of retaining lugs. I had one on a Hasselblad but I have sold that camera so I can't measure the lug for you. The OP/TECH strap was very comfortable.

When I had an Autocord I used a Gordy strap:

I'd also second Alan's suggestion to look into whether one of the OP/TECH clips will work.

Spoke to Optech and the holes and slots are too small on their Rollei and Hasse straps. Not sure if I could just enlarge the hole and slot to fit the Autocord - would leave too little metal for strength? If I can find the straps in a camera store I will see and report back.
