Strange looking mottled negatives

I recently developed some Tmax 100 120 negatives that resulted in some strange mottled looking light tone spots throughout the negative. I developed these negatives routinely at 68 degrees, 11 minutes, in ID-11 1:1. I maintain tight control over the developer temperature and keep all the other chemicals and wash within 3 degrees. Normally this works well with no problems. I have included the a 100% sample of a good roll developed just prior to the bad one and a 100% sample of the bad roll also. The developer, fix, stop and HCA were all fresh. I checked the fix clearing times before developing and fixed at 2 times the clearing time.

Has anyone had any experience with this issue?

Were both films from same batch/pack?

Do you leave in gbag without wrapper?

Have you still got the backing paper?

I am not sure about being in the same batch, but it is possible. I just recently starting using Tmax 100 so all of my Tmax film is relatively new. I purchase Tmax in the 5 roll packages so it could have been from the same batch.

I store unused film in the original sealed Kodak packages, and store the individual rolls of film in opaque plastic containers. I probably have the backing paper still in the trash can along with other backing so I couldn't ID the exact backing paper.

Are you referring to possible light leaks or other contamination?

Sorry upend trash inspect each Tmax backing paper for any witness for dampness or consequent damage. All the paper should be unsullied...

I've has similar mottle by pouring in fix immediately realising mistake and dumping fix and replacing with developer but you would know if you had done that... And your fix was dilute.
