APUGger Stoo Batchelor has landed a very good 8 page spread in issue 71 (April 2007) of Black and White Photography. Well done Stoo, and of course the B&W team for recognising talent when it crosses the editorial desk.

By the way Stoo, style equals rut, so stop worrying about it.

Congrats Stoo! That's a fine mag... But they must be slow getting to the US as I recently bought the January issue (68) which has a nice article by Mike Johnston. I'll look for the april issue sometime this summer!

I haven't been able to buy this magazine at either Borders or Barnes & Noble for more than a year.

A big thankyou to Dave, and all of the APUGers who have taken the time to comment here.

And also a thankyou for all your helpfull advice over my time spent here at APUG, forever helping me along the way to improving my photography. All very much appreciated.

Not forgetting the inspiration I get every visit I make to the APUG galleries. Superb!

Kindest Regards

Stoo Batchelor

I went straight out and bought it. When I got home I realised I had Issue 70, March!

I will try again next week.

My copy arrived yesterday and I thoroughly enjoyed the article and your images, Stoo! Good for you!

Except for the fact that Talisker Bay is actually *my* bay

My thanks to you all again, Steve, John, Andy, Ann, Joe, leon, and Richard. Not forgetting Dave and his wicked sense of humour.

I would like to clear one thing up though. Talisker Bay is 'MY' Bay. The reason being that the last time I was there I hoisted a flag up a pole to claim it as mine. I am told by a reliable source that this is all legal and above board.(Mind you he was Argentinian!)

All the best

Sorry Colin, I somehow missed you from my list.

Thank you.
