hi,
i would like to know wich photo labs are you using in Stockholm?, we are planning to move there soon, well, we'll be between Stockholm and Åland, but i don't expect that there is any lab in the island, so if you have any info on labs in Stockholm especially for c41/E6 process, scanner servicies i'll appreciate it, oh... i'm used to work with fuji labs (frontier).
tack så mycket!

A good pro lab in Stockholm is Crimson. However, it is not the cheapest option. http://www.crimson.se/

Myself, I post C41 and E6 to a photographer outside of Stockholm that does mailorder development, or go to a small lab on Hornsgatan, Svenska Kort that develops my C41 very fast

When I lived in Göteborg I used Crimson for a while and got dev & scan. They have a nice system where they upload your images to a secure website for you to download in a zip file. Developing was very good, nice clean negs always. Scanning was a little soft and the contrast / saturation seemed a bit boosted. No idea who made their lab equipment.

i've been checking Crimson and diabolaget sites, woah... why is so expensive film developing? i'm used to pay half of that or less, at least crimson is working with the same fuji machine that i'm used to and scanning does look reasonable priced.
I've reading somewhere else nice words from svenska kort also (no website i guess), how much do they charge for developing?
So Erik, are you sending your film to a photographer to get developed? i would like to know more about that, can you send some information or his/her email?

Hi again.
Svenska Kort charges 40 or 50 SEK for developing C41, no prints. I have never tried scanning there. He sends E6 somewhere, so it is more expensive. Gert, who works there, is quite a profile, and has been working in the same store for over 30 years. Sometimes I just stay to admire his collection of old gear.

The photographer I send my films to is called Rolf Berntzen, and he develops very good, as far as I can tell. http://www.enbrabild.se/kontakt.html Have not tried scanning there either.

Send me a note when you arrive if there is something more I could help you with.

thank you all it has been very helpfull, i don't discard starting doing my own developing for color seriously, 'til now i just messed around with e-6 process with quite good sucess, in spain it's not worthwhile own developing (c41) but after seeing those crazy prices you have there i'll think about it!

Erik: i'll let you know when i'll be there, if everything follows the plan late may/first of june. Tack!
